A beautiful “naked” wedding cake. 

This 3 tiered cake is made of 3 Victoria sponges, with a perfect balance of strawberry jam and fresh cream.

It has a rustic feel, as you can see the strawberry jam and fresh cream slightly spilling from the sides.

The flowers here were artificial, to keep the weight at a minimal, as this type of cake is not the most stable. I kept them to the top and one side, to leave room for plenty of fresh fruit on the other side. 

The fruit I used included, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, figs & physalis.

The cake was finished off with a light dusting of icing sugar. 

As this cake is made with fresh cream, it’s not recommended to have it sitting out of the fridge for a long period of time. It’s also not advisable to have it in direct sunlight or in a hot/warm environment. 

My wedding cakes are priced individually, as there are a lot of individual elements that go towards the final cake.
